Senior Project Manager - Highways Consultancy

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Highways Consultancy team. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work on a range of complex highways projects, while offering them the opportunity to progress their career with a sector leading consultancy.

About The Opportunity-
Arcadis require a Senior Project Manager experienced at delivering infrastructure projects to join our Mobility team who are focussed on delivery of a programme of major schemes for key clients in this sector. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of transportation or other Civil Engineering schemes and be familiar with the NEC form of contract.

The main purpose of the role is to-
  • Be responsible for administration of Highways projects.
  • Setting up and delivery of best practice PM systems and controls.
  • Lead service delivery with existing key clients, maintaining and strengthening the client relationships, using opportunities to cross-sell.
  • Gain the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication.
  • Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients forming a strong working relationship in true partnership.
  • Ensure consistency of service delivery and to identify opportunities for developing both the quality and profitability of the service.
  • Assist in providing best practice and continuous improvement within delivery teams.


Requirements-

  • Degree qualified in relevant construction related discipline.
  • Proven Project Management background within the Infrastructure and/or Highway related sectors.
  • Professionally Qualified through an accredited Institution e.g. APM.
  • High level of knowledge and proven experience of working with NEC form of contract.
  • Knowledge of fundamental PM systems and procedures in the construction industry.
  • In depth knowledge of different construction processes.
  • A forward-thinking approach to the management of clients and projects.
  • Ability to deliver quality outcomes under time pressures.
  • Recognised Degree in a related discipline.
