Education/Training/Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to Masters level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.Additional management qualification or specialist qualification at post graduate level or significant leadership experience at post graduate level in specialist area.Programme Management qualificationMembership of a relevant professional body.Evidence of continuing professional development. Desirable criteria A higher degree (PhD) in a relevant field or demonstration of equivalent knowledge/ experience Knowledge and Experience Essential criteria Substantial experience working at a senior level involving scientific/research /evaluation/data analysis.Extensive knowledge and experience in the application of evaluation frameworks in health.Extensive knowledge and experience in the application of robust mixed methods evaluation (qualitative and quantitative methods).Experience of operating at a senior level in a complex and large scale delivery programme.An understanding of NHS organisational structures, cultures and relationships between different services and NHS organisations.Knowledge and experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency partnership working with a range of stakeholdersExperience of managing change and transition.
