Do you have previous experience working as a Pricing or Actuarial Analyst within GI or PMI? Do you have programming knowledge of SQL, R, Python, SAS or similar and experience of Emblem, Radar or Earnix?

If so, you might be interested in our new Senior Market Pricing Analyst role working within our expanding Pricing team!

Package:Salary up to £55k DOE with excellent benefits including 23 holiday days (plus your birthday off), on-site parking, and pet insurance discount. This can be fully remote or hybrid working - whatever suits you best

What you`ll get up to as a Senior Pricing Analyst (Market)
  • Supporting market price development
  • Building and maintaining our customer behavioural models
  • Preparing and proposing market rate adjustments ready for release
  • Supporting the development of our customer LTV model
  • Supporting the implementation, including testing, of agreed rate changes
  • Working with a range of stakeholders throughout the business as well as external partners
Essential

What we look for in you
  • Degree educated with a strong numerical content, preferably 2:1 or above
  • Background in GI, PMI or other market pricing with experience of pricing techniques
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Considerable experience of pricing tools such as Emblem, Radar or Earnix
  • Programming knowledge of SQL/R/Python/VBA/SAS or similar
  • Ability to communicate complex matters simply
  • Comfortable to work independently, but also within a team
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Genuine interest in innovation and new techniques
Desired
  • Part qualified actuary (completed CTs or Core Principles)
  • Experience of machine learning techniques
  • Experience in Power BI, Power Query, Tableau or similar
