Scott Dunn is an award-winning luxury tour operator creating tailor-made holidays to destinations all over the world. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding service to all our guests from the moment they begin their research online, right the way through to post-holiday evaluations.

With offices in the UK, US, and Singapore, we are a growing global business, but our team is close-knit. It is our people that set us apart – passionate, honest, and absolutely dedicated to our guests. But do not just take our word for it; we have been voted Condé Nast Traveller’s Top Travel Specialist in the World ten years in a row.

The Opportunity

Joining our global marketing team to cover a 12-month period of maternity, the Senior Performance Marketing Manager will lead Scott Dunn’s PPC and Paid Social media channels across our three key markets (UK, US, and SG). Using a data-driven approach, this will require driving new guest acquisition via paid media channels, focusing on delivering the most cost-effective approach to running the performance marketing budget.

This role will also present an opportunity to act as a senior leader within our global marketing team, managing a team of three direct reports, and working cross-functionally to drive new guest acquisition.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Own the Paid Search and Paid Social budget and roadmap for Scott Dunn in the UK and US, ensuring this budget is utilised in the most effective way.
  • Work closely with your team and be responsible for delivering monthly targets across our three key markets – UK/US/SG.
  • Ensure all CPA targets are within the allowable, and we are utilising best practices for all the paid media campaigns.
  • Scale our Paid Social campaigns using video as a key media format to acquire new guests and reactivate existing ones.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to focus on key seasonal events, destinations and tactical campaigns.
  • Report weekly and monthly on paid channels, ensuring recommendations from this reporting are made and executed.
  • Measure key performance metrics to grow online marketing ROI and audience engagement.

You

You will be an excellent communicator and relationship builder, with a proven track record in both managing a team (small or large) and working cross-collaboratively – including influencing, coaching, setting objectives, and ensuring a challenging and engaging environment. Naturally you will also be analytical and organised, but also passionate about your impact and performance marketing in general. Having worked in a fast-paced environment before, you will thrive under pressure, and have a clear bias to action – not being bogged down by theory but focusing on results that deliver. Other attributes that should be evidenced in your application include:

  • Significant hands-on experience in both Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Ability to create and optimise paid campaigns and provide insight to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, building bridges into all departments your work touches
  • Ability to set and work to deadlines as needed ensuring the same for your team

Other requirements that would be desirable but not essential include:

  • Certifications in Google Ads Search Fundamentals, Google Ads Display, Google Ads Measurement, Google Ads Video, Google Analytics for Beginners, and Facebook Blueprint certifications.
  • An understanding of wider marketing principles – understanding user journeys and how to influence them through paid campaigns
  • Experience working with global markets
  • Luxury, Travel, or retail sector experience
