The Opportunity:

We are looking for a pro-active, numerate individual who is motivated to join our transactional finance team as a Finance Apprentice. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already started or is looking to start their AAT qualification and is wanting to make their way into the world of finance.


Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Working with travel consultants to ensure all invoices are inputted correctly into the reservation system
  • Assisting with weekly multi-currency payment runs
  • Resolving supplier queries as required
  • Raising and ensuring prompt payment of invoices
  • Completing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Checking daily brank transfers and logging them in the reservation system
  • Investigating and resolving unreconciled receipts
  • Uploading bank statements into our finance system (SUN)
  • Processing of direct debit payments and invoices
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Loading and transferring balances on prepaid cards as required
  • Coding credit card statements ready for posting
  • Providing ongoing assistance to the finance team inclusive of archiving and filing

You:

You will be someone who has achieved AAT Level 2 or Level 3 or have had prior exposure to an accounts-based role and want to start working towards your AAT. Other qualities that will assist in your application include:

  • High level of attention to detail with a passion for quality and accuracy
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and driven to learn
  • Highly numerate, with good mathematical comprehension
  • Competent with computer systems and Microsoft Suite
  • Positive disposition, with the ability to take initiative

Location

We aim to find someone who would be office based at our new premises in Hammersmith for at least 3 days a week (to include Tuesdays and Wednesdays). There will be an induction / training period initially, where you may be required to attend the office daily.
