The team works closely with our Transport and Infrastructure, Services, Structures and Environmental teams on larger multi-disciplinary development proposals. Regionally we operate as a wider team covering offices from as far east as Guildford and as far west as Exeter, providing opportunities to work both within and outside of the South West. From time to time opportunities also arise to work in other parts of the UK and beyond.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • BSc or BA (minimum 2:1) in a relevant subject such as economics, geography, business studies, mathematics, engineering, politics etc, (Masters qualification is desirable)
  • Good knowledge of UK transport legislation, policy and guidance, and ideally policy within the West of England
  • Experience in the delivery of business cases and/or transport economic appraisal is desirable
  • Experience in the delivery of active travel and/or public transport projects is desirable

  • Ability to manage own time effectively
  • Ability to analyse technical data with attention to detail
  • An understanding of the importance of safety, health and environmental issues
  • Ability to work productively as part of a team
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with standard software packages including MS Excel and Word
