Job Description

Sage has an exciting opening for a Front End Developer to support the platforms our customer, partners and developers utilize in their engagement with Sage. You will contribute to and lead the development of web and mobile interfaces for product module or new prototypes using React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

This role will be responsible for customizing, developing and supporting reusable front end components using technology platforms offering our customer, partner and developer digital experiences. This role will also provide production support for applications by trouble shooting issues, proposing solutions, testing fixes, and migrating solutions.

You’re Going To Need
  • Significant experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, & CSS
  • Proven experience working with MVC 3.5 or 4.0 using .NET framework, a plus
  • Experience with integration using REST API and SOAP webservices.
  • Solid understanding object-oriented development concepts and practices, including separation of concerns, inversion of control, and unit testing
  • Expertise in SQL Server development and database design.
  • Experience with large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces and data conversion
  • Experience in using efficient methodologies (e.g. Agile – Extreme programing, writing user stories, and test driven development)
Key Responsibilities As a C# .NET Developer, design and develop applications of highest quality, following programming and design best practices.
Develop features for the platform using Sitecore CMS and C# .NET.
Implement functional and technical specifications for future enhancements of the platform and provide troubleshooting wherever necessary.
Automate unit testing and functional testing, as applicable.
As a scrum team member, contribute to all Sprint activities and ceremonies; facilitate ceremonies as applicable.
Provide release support responsible for movement of changes from dev to production landscape.
Be a strong team player, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment.
