Senior Monitoring Technician
Wiltshire
Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours)

Absolutely delighted to be working exclusively in partnership with an FCA regulated business that are going from strength to strength, to recruit a Senior Monitoring Technician to work within their Broker Services Team. They are a highly inquisitive business, and they share an inclusive culture with strong values and ethics. The employees share in the vision and the common goals and they put their customers, clients and employees at the heart of their business decisions. Reporting directly into the Head of the Service:
  • Review and assess the personal and financial profiles of new firms, with complex company structures
  • Review and approve Business Plans and 12 month financial projections in line with the current contract rates
  • Maintaining and updating team processes and procedures making sure that they are reviewed regularly
  • Complete referral cases
  • Review statutory accounts for a range of company types and sizes
  • Ability to review Tax returns, Tax overviews and deferred tax computations
  • Ability to complete key work functions of the team as and when required
  • Complete regular management information in regards team workloads
  • Maintain and communicate daily updates to relevant key stakeholders
  • Liaising with brokers and dealing with ad hoc financial/accounting queries
  • Managing your workload and prioritising effectively
  • Reporting to senior management and taking responsibility for completing tasks accurately, to deadline and liaise effectively
  • Maintaining technical expertise and asking for training as needed
  • Ad hoc duties as required
Key Requirements
  • AAT qualified or actively studying CIMA/ACCA
  • Intermediate IT Skills
  • Advance understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Excel to include pivot tables and v-look ups
  • You will be a driven and friendly individual to help the team ensure both deadlines and broker expectations are being met
  • The ability to take accountability, adapt to change and come up with new solutions
