A global automotive component manufacturer require a Senior Launch Controller to control and report all launch costs. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing with a good understanding of BOM and inventory.

Package: £48,000 - £50,000 p.a.

The Role

Reporting into the Plant Financial Controller you will have the following duties:
  • Control and reporting of all launch cost.
  • Preparing a 13-week cash forecast to determine short-term cash needs of the facility.
  • Conduct month end and year end closing.
  • Support the Plant Financial Controller in controlling all plant costs and internal controls.
  • Change control
  • Standard costs
  • Inventory analysis
  • Reporting and forecasting.
The Person

Educated to a minimum of near quailed in ACCA or CIMA you will have the following experiences:
  • Experience in manufacturing (first tier automotive is desirable but not essential).
  • A good understanding of the budgeting process in respect of new product launches.
  • Used to some manual processes alongside systems such as System 21 and Hyperion.
