The University of Greenwich is undergoing an exciting transformation, with the launch of a new strategy motivated by an ethos of ‘Education without Boundaries’. This is already driving exceptional performance as evidenced in our recent REF2021 outcome. This saw a significant improvement in our research quality and volume across all subject areas, leading to an increase of 25 places based on grade point average (GPA), the fourth highest increase in the sector.
To maintain this impetus for growth and success, the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition and Health Science within the School of Science (www.gre.ac.uk/es/science)
Featured in the top 15 in the UK league tables for Food and Nutrition, we are seeking to extend our academic staff base to support the increased growth of this discipline at the University.
We are looking for a Registered Nutritionist (or eligible for registration), able to conduct high quality teaching and research on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the Human Nutrition discipline. The role holder will focus on delivering excellence in educational provision in a variety of formats, as well as making a strong, positive contribution to the School’s academic research profile in learning and teaching, employability, and the student experience, as well as to add value to the University’s objectives in relation to achieving excellence.
If you would like to help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research in the Faculty of Engineering and Science, then we would welcome your application to join us at our historic Medway campus in Chatham.
For further information, please contact the Head of School of Science: Professor Linda Brownlow at l.brownlow@gre.ac.uk or the PVC (Interim): Professor Peter Griffiths at p.griffiths@gre.ac.uk
