Summary:

Senior HR advisor
Working within an established HR team, this brand new role of Senior HR Advisor has been created due to continued growth and to ensure a positive employee journey is continued throughout the business. The Senior HR advisor will support the Head of HR and management team with achieving strategic direction and key HR objectives. The successful Senior HR Advisor will be hands on, a HR expert and be confident in providing specialist HR support throughout the organisation. Building strong relationships is paramount as is sound employment law knowledge and a full generalist remit. This role is a great opportunity to drive continuous improvement and support the goal of being an employer of choice.

The role itself
  • Recruitment and selection – design and developed job descriptions
  • Be part of recruitment activities and events
  • Coaching managers with interview techniques when required
  • Working with line managers on process and procedure
  • Ensure policy and procedure is communicated effectively throughout the business
  • Contributing to HR initiatives reward, recognition and well being
  • Provide guidance on absence management
  • Being digitally savvy to contribute to the business digital transformation strategy (HR part)
  • Contract preparation, letters and correspondence creation when necessary
The Candidate
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience working in Human Resources
  • 3 years at advisor level providing generalist support in a fast pace business
  • A proven background in employee relations and being able to fully support on ER
  • A professional, positive role model with excellent communication skills
  • An excellent working knowledge of employment law
  • Demonstrable experience in recruitment at all levels
  • Prioritisation and time management skills
  • Looking for a busy, hands on, rewarding position where continuous improvement is welcome
  • CIPD level 5 is a desirable
