Working for a large, well established and respected employer - were excited to be recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join a growing HR team. The role is incredibly busy, varied and interesting and would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys a fast paced and dynamic role. Relationship building is key, as is the ability to deliver an efficient and compliant HR service. Youll be working closely with the HR Business Partners, giving advice and guidance to line managers throughout the business. Youll ensure processes and procedures are followed within the framework and are legally compliant. Supporting and mentoring other HR Advisors and HR Administrators, youll be happy to share your knowledge with the wider team.Location:Office based - Blackburn
Salary: £28,000 plus discretionary bonus
Benefits: 30 days holiday including bank holidays, pension, flexible benefits package
Key Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation.
- Supporting HR advisors and managers, you will provide advice and guidance on employee relation issues including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievances and escalate any complex cases to your HR Business Partner.
- Leading weekly casework reviews, ensuring SLA’s are met / exceeded to contribute towards a high performing HR operations team.
- Contribution and alignment to HRBP activities and objectives, providing value in terms of productive measures.
- Lead and mentor HR Advisors with the investigation of all disciplinary matters, ensuring employment law and company policy are adhered to.
- Supporting long-term business objectives through strategic support.
- Implementing new HR operational initiatives.
- Undertaking HR projects in line with the HR Strategy.
- Preparation / presenting HR updates at Regional Meetings.
- Ensuring compliance with employment law.
- You will also be required to undertake ad-hoc HR/projects and other administrative duties from time to time.
- Producing audits and reports in a timely manner and taking appropriate action.
- Facilitating review and appraisal processes.
- Updating policies and procedures with the HR Business Partner.
Experience required
- Experience within HR operations for a large organisation
- CIPD level 5 or CIPD level 7
- Strong casework management
- Complex casework
- ACAS / tribunal preparations
- A strong team player who enjoys continual development
- Able to research and keep abreast with latest employment legislation
- Driving license preferable
