Senior Health Care Support Worker – Community

The Role

The post holder will deliver high quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses.

The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

What we’ll need you to bring

• SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.

• Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.

• Working knowledge of basic information technology

• Car driver is essential.

Please note if you’re offered part time hours that the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

This role will be based in District Nurse - Long term conditions team based within Houldsworth Centre
