Senior GIS Analyst

The Senior GIS Analyst role sits within our highly successful Digital Division. You’ll be working alongside an award-winning team of geospatial experts driving digital change across Stantec and our clients. We’re customer and user focused, pushing new ways of working across digital, whilst incorporating technology and data into all our services and solutions.

We are seeking a Senior GIS Analyst who will lead the delivery of innovative, digital solutions for both our internal business and our clients operating in the fields of water/wastewater, energy and resources, transportation, and environmental management.

You will also be driving insights from big data that enables proactive management of assets and more informed investment planning. In turn benefitting communities by utilising digital technology to help our clients to meet the challenges faces within the Water industry.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Be an experienced geospatial data engineer/analyst
• Good knowledge of geospatial concepts and data processing techniques
• Good knowledge of software development techniques and best practice
• Technical team leadership experience
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring
• Demonstrate an innovative and inquisitive nature.
