Our Asset Management Team has a significant track record of successful delivery across the Water and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realise financial and social value from their assets. We do this by working with clients in a collaborative environment to provide strategic, resilient, and innovative solutions to their performance issues. We work with their teams and stakeholders to unlock hidden data and provide insight into the performance of their asset base, helping them to work more effectively making, systems based, informed and timely decisions

Our continued success in supporting many of the UK’s main utility providers and major infrastructure developers, brings significant growth across the group. As a result, we are looking to appoint a Graduate Asset Surveyor into our Bristol team.

Working within the Asset Management Team, the role will be accountable for delivery of condition assessment and inspections of assets across various projects undertaken by Stantec on behalf of their clients. This will assist clients in developing asset registers and enable future development of condition-based monitoring, relevant maintenance activities (preventative/predictive/planned), asset criticality, capital investment and environmental impact assessment/strategies.

You will be assisting an experienced Asset Surveyor at client sites and undertaking asset verification, condition, and dilapidation surveys on Mechanical & Electrical, Civil, Building Infrastructure and Real Estate assets. You will also assist with assessing and providing specific insight into the condition, performance, and operational risk of assets by undertaking non-intrusive inspections.

The successful candidate may also become involved in other Stantec wide design and delivery projects across all disciplines and will assist with other asset management related consultancy tasks within the team as required.

About You

  • Minimum of Honours Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Process/Chemical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Building Service Engineering or Building Surveying.
  • Must have full driving licence and own car to travel to and from sites.
  • Good standard of written and verbal communication.
  • Experience of interpreting information and undertaking analysis of information from differing sources to formulate a conclusion.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles.
  • Demonstrate relevant Health and Safety competence and knowledge.
  • Building strong working relationships with other stakeholders whilst ensuring that the best interests of the projects are promoted and maintained.
  • Competent in the use of all standard Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and other similar applications.
