Senior Software Engineer (Front End)React, React Native, TypeScript50k DOE3 days a week in LiverpoolJoin a Thriving and Innovative Company in the Online Gaming Industry!Operating in the exciting world of online gaming, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Front End Engineering team. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in developing and supporting our web presence, revolutionising the digital experience for our customers across a diverse range of gaming products, including Lotto, Sportsbook, Casino, Arcade, and engaging free-to-play games.Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Impact Solutions: Utilize your expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet given acceptance criteria and elevate our web platforms to new heights.
  • Journey Mastery: Become a Subject Matter Expert in core web journeys, including Authentication, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within the web front end, such as refining Authentication processes and optimizing artifact and asset delivery.
  • Code Excellence: Demonstrate your skills by delivering top-quality code using Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies. Leverage Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless production deployments. Conduct rigorous testing, including functional, load, performance, and security, to maintain the highest software quality.
  • Incident Management: Act as a key member of the Critical Incident Response Team, providing swift and effective responses to critical issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Problem Solving: Utilize your technical expertise to contribute to the problem management process, offering valuable insights and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Application Enhancement: Collaborate closely with various technology teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of application delivery to our customers. Identify areas for improvement across our application estate, both on premises and in the cloud computing environment.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in React & React Native, TypeScript
  • Expertise in IdP implementation, delivering solutions consuming APIs (GraphQL), and strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly in Authentication.
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership for all tasks and issues.
  • Good understanding of SEO and tracking using platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentorship capabilities to guide and support junior members of the team.
  • Passion for digital channels and a strong drive to contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of online gambling.
  • Knowledge of the gaming/betting industry is a plus (but not essential).
