Job description

Bespoke is hiring a Front End Developer to work in our tight-knit team of 12 at the new £8.4m Strawberry Fields Digital Hub in Chorley.

You’ll be working on both new-build and upgrade work, primarily for our 15 key clients, mostly customer facing websites but also some portals.

The salary for the role is advertised at £25,000-35,000 but we welcome applications at other levels. It is most important to us that you have a thorough, careful and professional approach so as to fit in with our team and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Building new websites from XD designs
  • Upgrading existing websites from project briefs & wireframes
  • Liaising with colleagues to provide time estimates

Technologies

  • We primarily use PHP & Laravel to build websites
  • SASS/SCSS, Tailwind, JQuery and vanilla JavaScript
  • Git, Gulp and we write OOCSS
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator is useful

Flexible working

  • You can choose your start and finish time, around core hours
  • You can choose to work from home up to 3-days each week if you wish
  • This job is available as a 4-day or 5-day role (salary adjusted accordingly)
