Multinational manufacturing Group based on the outskirts of Portsmouth, Hampshire have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, driven Senior Financial Analyst to undertake the role of Finance Business Partner to a key division.

What will the role involve?
  • Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the position will include working with non-finance managers to produce annual budgets;
  • Providing financial analysis on annual costs including variance analysis and monthly reforecasting;
  • Providing full cycle project accounting support for new initiatives from proposed development through to implementation and final sign off;
  • Assisting with the ongoing development of the strategic plan and providing financial support for business case proposals.
Suitable Candidate
  • Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification and a proven track record of working successfully within either a Financial Analyst, Project Accountant or Finance Business Partner;
  • Exposure to working with Government contracts and in particular the MOD would be highly beneficial;
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential as is the ability to effectively challenge and develop existing processes.
