What will you be doing?

The Senior Finance Manager will lead a Finance Decision Support team which delivers best in class business partnering and control within Technology and Corporate Functions Commercial Finance team – covering IT, Digital & Vodafone Business Technology Services (“VBTS”)

Key Accountabilities Include
  • Provide Financial Decision Support - contribute to the development of strategy of the business areas and generate buy-in, assessing, challenging and providing financial advice and guidance. Own creation of strategic business cases and plans. Coordinate all aspects of financial inputs and outputs between business functions and other functions. Manage the forecasting cycle including annual, in-year, long-range plans and strategic business planning.
  • Manage the decision gate process ensuring constant evaluation of proposals and initiatives and their returns and monitoring actual performance against planned benefits. Manage cost control and efficiency monitoring and reporting.
  • Drive cost efficiency and demand management across the business areas – with focus on third party costs and shared services.
  • Key support for the implementation of new Technology operating model and development and delivery of the business case.
  • Drive Financial Excellence - establish and maintain strong working relationships with other finance teams including Group Technology. Provide expertise on all financial aspects of the area of management among both finance and management communities. Earn the trust of senior management to give guidance and support and lead financial initiatives.
Who Are We

looking for?
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in a cost transformation role whilst partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and process analysis skills, with an ability to work in detail and also see the big picture.
  • Ability to work across functional boundaries, with exceptional communication skills to influence and challenge.
