JOB - Senior FEA Engineer

LOCATION - Surrey

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience (please advise what you’re looking for)

My client works within the engineering / energy sector, and they are looking to take on a Senior FEA Engineer / Senior CFD Engineer on a permanent basis, in the Surrey area.

The Senior FEA Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar preferably

Have experience of using CAD and FEA software previously and be happy to adapt

3 or more years’ experience working in a similar position

Have a good mechanical analyst background with the desire to develop long term

Knowledge / experience in - material beahviour, fatigue analysis, bearing analysis, analysis of machinery or similar

Have a methodical approach to work

Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a team

The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes

Have great problem-solving skills

Excellent Communication SkillsThe Senior FEA Engineer Role Will Involve

Being involved in mechanical design from component level

Carrying out FEA simulation analysis as required

Using Altair software

Static, Dynamic and Thermal FE modelling

Supporting design verification tasks

Working on the analysis of rotating machinery

Being involved in testing and prototyping

Making improvements to analytical processes
