London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham are looking to recruit an experienced Events Manager to lead its team, to commission, deliver and promote events across the borough. If successful you will be working with major international event organisers for sport and culture, to raise the profile of the borough and increasing income, whilst ensuring events are accessible to everyone and enhancing our residents cultural experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • To ensure all events and activities taking place in the Council’s parks and open spaces are in line with the Council’s Policy on events in the Borough and that the police, emergency services, residents and other relevant bodies have been consulted.
  • To market the Council’s outdoor spaces, including annually reviewing and updating the pricing structure for lettings, benchmarking with other similar service providers.
  • To have overall responsibility for the efficient management of the booking process for the Council’s outdoor spaces.
  • To actively participate in the planning, management and delivery of a range of complex multi-disciplinary outdoor events.
  • To keep up to date with all licensing, Health & Safety, equalities and other relevant legislation and requirements regarding events and to ensure that all standards are met.
