About the role:

We are looking for a motivated, collaborative and decisive individual to join our eCommerce team as aSenior eCommerceExperience Product Owner in the English Language Teaching (ELT) group to support strategic solutions to selling and fulfilling product online.


As part of a global, cross-functional Scrum team, this role will focus on the product discovery experience and delivery of digital sales channels for B2B and/or B2C customer segments. By developing a deep knowledge of business strategy and keen understanding of customer needs and behaviours, the product owner will own direction for key projects, including scope definition, roadmap and backlog of change.


To achieve the right outcomes, this role will work cross-functionally within the Scrum team and more widely with colleagues in Technology, Product management and other key areas to clarify needs, understand options and define priorities and requirements in an agile framework.


The ELT eCommerce team has a sales and marketing technology remit, working in alignment with English Technology team to manage and implement a portfolio of projects that support the eCommerce and Digital selling strategies.

About you:

You will bring a strong Product Owner skillset, able to write user stories, acceptance criteria and identify minimum viable feature sets, while working effectively in cross-functional teams to define and manage flow of work.


You are a champion for seamless online purchasing and love getting into the detail of what makes the most effective selling experiences. So prior experience in eCommerce projects is a must, preferably in consumer and B2B contexts.


By developing a deep understanding of our business needs and our customer segments, you will be a key advocate for the ELT eCommerce strategy and its value to the business and to customers.


You will bring a customer-first approach along with effective communication and leadership skills to represent strategic scope to your team and stakeholders, breaking down complex requirements into understandable and deployable user journeys, while preserving the integrity of the overall end-to-end experience.
