Job Title: Digital Learning Coordinator

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £26,700 - £32,000

Location: Cambridge

The Role

The Online Professional Learning team is responsible for the development and delivery of online professional training for teachers and school leaders in more than 100 countries.

We don’t expect that you will necessarily have previous experience working in our field. We do expect that you’ll be highly motivated, organised, with a keen interest and experience in digital technology.

This role will suit someone who is looking to develop their career within a very well-established organisation who can offer them stability and great opportunities for growth and development.

The focus of this role is to support the delivery of Cambridge’s online professional development program ensuring that all courses and materials are up to date and of the highest quality.


Online programme course and resource maintenance

  • Ensure all technical issues with the live program are resolved on time and in full
  • Manage commissions from external developers from sourcing to completion of materials
  • Maintain materials and liaise with other departments and stakeholders
  • Commission and contract consultants and external developers for work related to online professional learning
  • Test online courses and materials
  • Identify, recommend and implement design improvements to user experience across Cambridge’s online professional development courses and resources
  • Manage the production of assets such as images, and video/audio footage
  • Continually review and improve internal processes to achieve the tasks above

Platform maintenance

  • Identify and implement improvements to the course delivery platforms
  • Lead the deployment of the annual course delivery platform upgrades
  • Identifying improvements for online learning
  • Design and deliver customer feedback protocols and the analysis of output
  • Recommend improvements to courses based on research and evaluation of the latest software solutions for online learning

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

  • Education to degree level (desirable)
  • Grade C or above in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • A Level education (or equivalent)

Skills

  • Excellent online and IT software experience (e-learning software, MS Office suite)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external partners
  • Flexibility and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative
  • Knowledge of principles of project management
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • How to produce project costings
  • Proofreading skills

Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience of online learning development
  • Previous experience of communicating with customers and suppliers

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an international and/or educational institution and/or examinations board would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Cambridge International Examination products
