Senior Director, International Manufacturing

This position is within the Hologic International Operations organization and expected to manage and deliver best in class Manufacturing in most efficient way, in time and at best cost.

The role you will be supporting /facilitating product development and sourcing alignment, Tech Transfer and conduct Multi-Horizon Manufacturing Planning (MHP) and New Product Introduction (NPI) oversight.

The scope of the position is International, you will lead the global conversation and drive direction for Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain teams.

Key responsibilites are as follows;

  • You will lead a team of Site Managers and Manufacturing Directors, coaching them to collaborate effectively to reduce costs and optimize production.
  • You will be accountable to the overall operational budget and costs for Manufacturing operations.
  • You will Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive value and improve the bottom line as well efficient manufacturing practices across all sites
  • You will Oversee talent management of staff and actively engage in talent development activities that encourage personal growth, enhanced performance and improve engagement.
  • This position will require cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, Planning , supply chain and the Commercial teams

To be successful in this role, you will have acquired the following skills and experience;

  • At least >15-20 plus years’ experience in Manufacturing of Medical Devices / Diagnostics or pharmaceutical products
  • Led multiple sites and worked in multi-cultural environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma , QMS , Shingo tools
  • Degree in engineering required with additional qualifications in supply chain management, logistics or materials management advantageous.
  • Proficient in excel, experience using BI tools e.g. QlikView
  • Conversant with ERP systems like Oracle / SAP and Planning forecasting software’s
