As a Senior Delivery Manager within Sky Data you will have direct responsibility for the delivery of challenging projects from inception through to the successful transition deployment to business and operations" Delivery Lead

What you’ll do:
  • Be accountable for end-to-end planning across multiple projects. Lead and agree scope, schedule, budget and delivery approach
  • Be responsible for creating robust delivery plans from project inception by working with business stakeholders and Delivery Leads, including managing changes through project lifecycle.
  • Work with Delivery Managers, Resource Managers and Scrum Masters to ensure required resources are secured within necessary timeframe and according to delivery plans.
  • Produce clear status reports on time, to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Manage milestones, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies across projects, clearly articulating the wider impact of a risk or issue as they arise.
  • Take an active role in the team, providing support & feedback to delivery managers and colleagues outside the immediate delivery team

What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years proven record of managing large scale technology focussed projects preferably including cloud hosted data.
  • Delivery experience in multiple methodologies. (Scrum, Less, SAFE, Waterfall)
  • Excellent organisation skills, ensuring transparency of plans and deliverables.
  • Experience of working in different delivery models, agile / waterfall, in dynamic challenging environment where there are constant changing demands and priorities.
  • Experience of complex integration projects on a large-scale in agile environments.
  • GDPR, data protection, data management knowledge and experience is preferable.
