What You’ll Do

• Develop the standards for delivery workflow for the team
• Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Work with one or more Applications Development teams to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for the team
• Work with our Principle Engineers to Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilise advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of our data operations function
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers
  

What You’ll Bring

• Application development management experience
• Should have hands-on experience with Java 8
• Strong knowledge of application development methodologies
• Strong RDBMS / NoSQL data knowledge
• Strong SQL Skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organise, and prioritise work across the team
• Experience following coding standards and performing peer code reviews
• Strong communication skills

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
