SENIOR DATA ENGINEER
FULLY REMOTE (Offices in B’ham, Manchester & London)
Up to £90,000 + Bonus

THE COMPANY

This brand has put heavy investment into their new GCP environment and has also expanded wider data teams across data science, analytics, risk, and reporting. This is a great role for someone who is looking to gain more exposure to machine learning and wider tools such as Python, Kubernetes, and Airflow.

THE ROLE

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develops tangible and ongoing standardization, simplification and efficiency of engineering processes
• Work closely with internal teams from analytics and data science to help build scalable and secure data platforms at the enterprise level
• Work with software developers to build API’s for products
• Oversee end-to-end projects
• Design new architectures and build innovative and new data products.

SKILLS REQUIRED

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Proven experience in working in a data engineering role
• SQL & Python Programming experience
• Have worked in a cloud-based environment (ideally GCP)
• Ideally, experience in building data pipelines (airflow desired)
