We are a growing organic dairy business situated in Leicestershire. We are focused on cow welfare, lifestyle and profitability. It is an autumn block calving herd; focused on superb standards of animal welfare and grass production. We operate a paddock grazing system with great infrastructure and the cows are housed throughout the winter months in cubicles.

We seek a top quality herdsperson to work with a progressive 600 cow unit to join our young and enthusiastic 5 person team. We offer well planned infrastructure and simple automation to make the job enjoyable for all involved.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Excellent stockmanship

- High levels of dairy hygiene, with good attention to detail to achieve fantastic milk quality results

- An understanding of a seasonal production system with high utilisation of forage (training can be provided)

- An excellent work ethic with a thirst for knowledge

- A good sense of humour and team spirit
