Description

ENGIE are looking for a proactive, highly experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join our team in Bristol or Bevis Marks on a permanent basis. If you’re the type of person who loves to maximise results and make the complex, simple - this could be the role for you!

You will be fully qualified with significant post-qualified experience and leadership skills to be ‘the Commercial Leader’ of our Team. You will have previous experience managing stakeholder relationships and managing multi-million-pound contracts.

What will you deliver?

  • To deliver the commercial management function across the contracts and clearly communicate the obligations and liabilities contained within both contracts to ultimately ensure that income is maximised, costs are minimised.
  • Directing the regional commercial strategy in conjunction with the Commercial Director.
  • Delivering improved financial and compliance performance
  • Identifying, monitoring and accurately reporting on risks & opportunity ensuring compliance with the ENGIE risk management framework.
  • Management of variation/change control.
  • Enforcing commercial compliance (by audit and support against ENGIE’s Minimum Commercial Standards).
  • To support the development and delivery of compelling commercial proposals to existing and new Clients to persuade them to extend current contracts and enter into new contracts including.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Suitable commercial experience within a similar industry sector
  • Educated to degree/ diploma level in either Law, Surveying (Building/Quantity), or the Built Environment (FM, Land).
  • Understanding and practical application of base UK law applicable to Commercial (Construction Act etc).
  • Ideally a member or training to be member of a chartered institution.
  • Excellent financial acumen with an ability to analyse complex data and documentation with accuracy
  • Skilled negotiator with proven experience in a commercial environment
  • Sound understanding of risk analysis/management
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Business Assurance systems.
