The Clinical Coding Department at Dorset County Hospital is looking for experienced ACC qualified clinical coders to join the team. Successful candidates must have extensive clinical coding experience across a range of specialties and be up to date with mandatory training. Crucially, the successful applicants must be enthusiastic, possess good communication skills and be capable of organising their own workload and working to deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for clinical coders looking to join a small team with remote and flexible working arrangements.

Responsible for the adherence to national coding standards and best practice

guidelines as set out by governing bodies such as NHS Digital.

To provide accurate, complete and timely Clinical Coding.

To provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff.

The Clinical Coding services, and the wider Digital Services team which it is a part of, is a friendly, hardworking, and supportive team, and we work with teams across the hospital on a range of projects and services. We are looking forward to welcoming new Senior Clinical Coders into our department, and will work with all new starters to ensure that they are supported to be effective and successful.
