The role is based in Blackburn, Lancashire and will primarily be working in the Clear and Clean team being site lead for clear and clean operatives working to empty properties and clean them on behalf of Newground, as well as undertaking collections & deliveries on behalf of Newground ReUse.

The key duties of a senior clear & clean team member, based in Blackburn, Lancashire will be:

Mentor and provide on site support to delivery the Clean and Clear operation. Ensuring staff work to the deliver the service standards.

To ensure site team carry out empty home property clearance / final clean tasks are carried out in accordance with procedures and risk assessments.

To ensure site team undertake collections and deliveries within the daily activity of ReUse and to ensure that both delivery and collection activity is undertaken within a safe work environment

To ensure all waste streams associated with clear and clean service are sorted and recycled appropriately

To assist the clear and clean supervisor with daily management of onsite teams.

In order to complete this role, the ideal candidate will have the following key skills, knowledge and experience:

Experience of leading on site teams to complete work schedules

Experience of property clearance.

Experience of property cleaning

Experience of recycling / waste disposal in a work environment

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving license is required, and a driving assessment will need to be passed
