Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Care Leader with a passion for delivering high quality care, at our clients personal-centred residential and respite care service for older people and those living with dementia.

Location: Residential Care Home, Coleshill.

Rate: £11.39 per hour

Hours: 35 hours (Shifts 07.00 – 2.00 and 2.00 – 9.00)

Responsible to: Deputy Manager/Registered Manager

Job Purpose: Provide high quality person centred individualised care and support to residents.

Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect, acknowledge their right to privacy and encourage independence and choice.

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality inside and outside of the workplace.

To be the main lead and support to care staff on the wing in order to maintain high standards of care practice.

To ensure the Deputy Manager is kept informed of any issues/obstacles in relation to the care wing to include the reporting of health and safety concerns.

To be responsible for one of the care wings in particular ensuring all relevant records and administration are up to date and accurate and that all provisions and supplies required for the daily functioning of the wing are in place.

To be the responsible person in the building ensuring safety and security of the residents, staff and building.

To work as part of care numbers, with administration days to undertake staff supervisions, wing audits, to include health and safety and infection control audits and return to work interviews.
