Salary:£10.40 per hour

Our client is a medium sized care home with a family atmosphere and have provided quality care to the local community for the last 28 years.

They pride themselves on being well-established care provider, with an aim to provide a homely, comfortable and pleasant atmosphere to ensure that every single one of our residents enjoys living with us.

In line with their continued success, our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant to complement existing team for Care Home (Keighley area).

Hours of work will be 9pm-8am , 7am-2pm , 2pm-9pm, with a rate of pay from £10.40 per hour plus enhancements (depending on qualifications and experience).

The ideal candidate will be a positive , caring person with a professional attitude to continue and maintain high standards and good practice.

Duties Include
  • Providing support and care to vulnerable people in the care home setting.
  • Assisting with all aspects of personal care.
  • Assist with preparing meals.
  • Communication with families, Doctors and other health professionals.
  • Accurate recording and supporting of day to day activities.
  • Assisting and responding to residents’ personal care requirements, and reporting any changes
  • Administration and recording of medication in line with the home’s policies and standards
  • Writing and updating care reports, care charts, and supervising more junior staff in adhering to good practice
  • Responsible for administration / monitoring of medication
  • Supporting Care staff
Candidate Requirements
  • MUST be experienced in a previous role.
  • Must be Kind, Caring, Patient + good with people.
  • Willingness to learn and maintain training.
  • Reliability is of utmost importance meaning the ideal candidate must have excellent timekeeping records.
  • MUST have at least NVQ L3, be reliable and flexible and have excellent employment references.
