We have a great opportunity for a Senior Care and Community Services Officer to join our team. Sidney Gale House offers accommodation to 35 clients in a residential setting. It is situated just outside of Bridport town centre.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the needs of clients are assessed, care plans are developed, implemented and monitored along with the administration of medications.
- Supporting the Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service.
- The safe administration and ordering of medication.
- Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines.
- The ability to work flexibly across the week including evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a caring profession. Knowledge of relevant Community Care legislation is essential along with a commitment to achieving quality assurance standards. Strong IT and communication skills. You should have NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Management.
