We build and manage homes and provide housing services for around 135,000 customers nationwide. Our Roadmap is exciting – it is based on the principle of Cloud first, establishing best practice processes and utilising out of the box functionality.

Over the last 12 months we have migrated our CRM system to Dynamics 365 online and our Finance system to Oracle cloud. Our Plan for the next two years is ambitious. We will continue to introduce new functionality to improve the services we provide to our customers, in parallel to initiating our Roadmap for Asset Management, Repairs and HR and L&D.

Our IT and Change Teams work hand in hand to deliver our Roadmap.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst join our Change Partnering team in Oldham on a permanent basis.

These roles will work as part of a team responsible for shaping the Portfolio of Change, and for driving continued business improvement and efficiencies through effective business engagement, design and change management activities.

Working with the Head of Change Partnering, these roles will create and establish a professional business analysis practice, driving a significant improvement in standards.

In this role you’ll lead on the design of business analysis aspects of complex or large business change and technology projects and programmes in the change portfolio, shaping projects and programmes to deliver the business outcomes required.

What we’re looking for
We’re a customer-focussed organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll not only be an experienced Senior BA; you’ll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to deliver business solutions for programmes / projects, balancing time, cost and quality.
  • Strong analytical background with a proven track record of developing robust business cases with supporting cost / benefit analysis.
  • Significant experience of shaping and leading business analysis, on large or complex projects / programmes from concept to operational acceptance.
  • Proven track record of delivering quantifiable process improvements through the application of Lean, Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement techniques.
  • Experience of business process modelling and levelling methods e.g., BPMN 2.0, and use of enterprise tools.
  • Able to lead, develop, engage, and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent written, numerical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools.

Key Outcomes:

  • Quality business solutions that address the requirements of the business, that follow best practice, and that comply with internal governance frameworks.
  • Production of artefacts that enable change initiatives to be assessed and prioritised against business benefits and strategic fit, with high quality business analysis that enables evidence-based decision making.
  • Measurably improved business processes with collateral produced that enables Directorates to drive continuous improvement in their service areas.
  • Contributes to continuously improving the Business Analysis Practice, and the development of a culture of continuous learning in the team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BCS or ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
