Senior Business Analyst - Digital Solutions

This position is part of Marsh Global Placement and Specialty’s Digital Solutions team, and will be based out of the London, UK office, reporting into the Digital Placement Leader for Global Placement and Specialties. The Digital Solutions team acts as an internal Insurtech for Marsh globally, and lead the design, build, and execution of various new insurance products, on Marsh’s newest algorithmic based auto-rate, quote and bind platform, called Marsh Intuitive.

The Senior Business Analyst will be tasked with leading change management and digital transformation within the UK Specialty business and across Marsh’s Global network of offices, and will be responsible for the delivery of multiple Intuitive products in the USA, Continental Europe and UK Marsh branches. The Senior Business Analyst will also be required to champion one/multiple programme horizontals and in doing some become a subject matter expert in requirements gathering, legal, UAT, production readiness, RPA, defect management or data & MI.

The Senior Business Analyst will be joining a team that is at the forefront of Marsh’s digital transformation and will be required to think outside of the box and encourage change, whilst managing numerous internal and external stakeholders.

We will count on you to:

• Own product life cycle for multiple Intuitive products, overseeing and coordinating project management resources within Marsh Intuitive team, Marsh IT, Marsh Operations, and various insurer’s IT and UW teams
• Assist the business in negotiation of digital portfolio solutions, liaising with insurer’s legal, IT and procurement teams, and separately with their CUO, Chief Actuary, Underwriting teams, and heads of distribution
• Own, deliver and execute varying stages of downstream RPA integration work whilst working with vendor(s), and Marsh IT
• Partner with regional leaders to design and implement digital solutions that drive Marsh’s strategic priorities (portfolio solutions, placement model, data and analytics, yield, etc)

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (business, finance, science, mathematics, engineering, management)
• Significant years related work experience
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues – IS A MUST
• Experience in change management and digital transformation
• Ability and acumen to engaged and interface with senior leaders across Marsh
• Ability to solve business problems through consultative approach with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in consultative sales
• Project management experience (designing and executing projects using standard PM protocols), with internal and external (multiple third parties, vendors inclusive) stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Consultancy experience in fintech or insurtech, having to do with disruptive change
• Experience working with portfolio instruments in insurance or financial sector
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technology, AI implementation, API integrations and RPA integrations
• MBA, PHd or Masters
• Global experience
