Job OverviewAn exciting opportunity exists to join the Business Intelligence and Warehouse Development team, as a Senior BI and Data Warehouse Developer at Somerset Foundation Trust, to support the development and implementation of information system.This role is currently fixed term for 24 months, the role has a central Taunton base location with good access to public transport links and free parking on a first come first serve basis. Flexible working arrangements are available which could include remote working requiring occasional attendance at face to face meetings in Somerset.Working in the BI & Analytics service you will be working in a team of like-minded individuals, supporting the development and delivery of diverse information from across the newly merged organisation.Experience and or knowledge of Acute, Community and Mental Health data would be advantageous but not essential, you will support the business as usual needs, along with delivering the challenges of merging two data warehouse solutions and strategic needs of the service.Experience in Microsoft products (including SQL Server 2012 and upwards, SSIS, Visual Studio) is essential. Experience in using web based reporting tools, like Power BI and Report Builder together with Source Control solutions like TFS would be an advantage.
