Senior Accountant Job VacancyAre you an experienced Senior Accountant looking for an opportunity to join a leading accountancy firm during an exciting period of growth?If youre self-motivated and able to confidently work in a client-facing role, this Senior Accountant job in Manchester could be for you. Youll be ACCA or ACA qualified with at least four years of accountancy practice experience.Youll also have a good knowledge of accounting software and will be detail focused, as well being a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.JobPurpose
  • Preparation of complex accounts and tax returns.
  • Work closely with managers to oversee workflow and ensure client work is completed and delivered to a high standard and in a timely manner.
  • Confidently take responsibility for client management, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
  • Provide training and development for junior staff, overseeing their workflow and deadlines.
  • Leading the use of cloud-based software, supporting account migration for all clients.
  • Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
  • Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, with at least four years of accountancy practice experience.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a teams workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Confidently mentor junior team members, in a positive and constructive manner
