INDMTAThis community-feel primary school in Stockport is searching for an energetic and compassionate teaching assistant to support a challenging Year 1 class.

The Teaching Assistant will work in an agile manner to support 24 students, including children with social emotional and mental health needs and EHCPs.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

  • Be a Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • Have experience working with SEN students, preferably with ASD
  • First Aid trained, or have a willingness to become first aid trained
  • Teach teach train, or have the desire to become team teach trained
  • Ideally have the desire to be involved in the running of their Forest School
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be committed to work full-time
