This Bury school is looking for an experienced SEN TA to provide 1:1 support to Year 1 children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The starting date is in September and the working hours may vary to reflect the childrens’ EHCP.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

  • Have experience working with SEN students, preferably with ASD
  • Have training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained
  • Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be committed to work full-time
