As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential assistance and support to students with diverse learning needs within the classroom setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN in the community.
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Support students with academic tasks, social interactions, and emotional well-being.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the overall development of students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
