Position: SEN Teachers, Royal College Manchester
Salary: £23,335 - £35,050 per annum + Teachers’ Pension Scheme + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year + 10 weeks holiday

Role Summary
Here at Seashell we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.
We have opportunities for talented SEN Teachers to join our expert team in our specialist Royal College.The post-holders will be responsible for a group of students both pastorally and educationally and be a line manager for a group of fantastic and committed Learning Support Assistants who make a difference to the education and learning of our amazing students every single day they come to work.
We have one permanent opportunity available (start date September 2021) and opportunities as fixed term contracts until the end of Summer term 2022.So if you are looking for a new challenge in a rewarding role where you can also make a difference every day that you come to work, then please apply ASAP!
Requirements

  • Previous teaching experience with students who have sensory impairment, autism and/or communication difficulties
  • Previous teaching experience with students who have severe and/or complex learning difficulties
  • Experience of differentiating the Curriculum
  • Multi-disciplinary working experience
  • Teaching degree or post graduate certificate (Qualified Teacher Status QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills QTLS) or willingness to achieve
  • Experience of behaviour management strategies and individual learning plans
