SEN Teacher

Location: Scunthorpe

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £30000-£46525 per annum

GSL Education are looking to hire qualifiedSEN Teachers to work in our client school based in Scunthorpestarting as soon as possible. You must hold QTS and have an enhanced DBS (child workforce) registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Plan and deliver specialized instruction to address the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
  • Adapt and modify the curriculum to cater to the individual learning styles, abilities, and interests of students with special needs.
  • Identify and assess the specific learning needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Regularly assess and track the progress of students, making adjustments to instructional strategies.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and professionals to create a cohesive and inclusive educational experience for all students.
