SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN) NURSERY TEACHING ASSISTANT
  • MORECAMBE
  • SEPTEMBER START The Lancashire Teaching Agency (LTA) are the partnership agency with Lancashire County Council, and we are now recruiting for a Nursery Teaching Assistant with an SEN specialism, for a primary school in Morecambe. The role is to support two children who are non-verbal and autistic.

Duties will include observations, small group work and one to two support. Having experience with EYFS and working with SEN children is an advantage. The hours will be 9am until 3pm Monday to Friday. The role is to start from Monday 15th May 2023 and is to continue until at least the end of the academic year - potentially with the view for it to continue until the next academic year.

The Teaching Assistant will:
  • Hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of EYFS
  • Have experience with working with pupils with Special Education Needs
  • Have previous experience within a primary school or nursery setting
  • Be enthusiastic and passionate about developing a pupil learning, and social needs.
