Currently recruiting for a SEMH support assistant with the Middlesbrough area. This particular role is for someone who is confident in building effective relationships and can adapt their approaches to each individuals needs. Children with SEMH come for varying backgrounds and it is important to understand that they will react differently, this is why effective relationship building is key.

Requirements
  • Have experience working with children who has SEMH
  • Available monday-friday
  • Be a team player with a flexible approach to teaching
  • Experience of working with children and teenagers
  • Be confident working both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Good behaviour management and desecalation techniques
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to purchase)
  • References covering the last 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
