We have a great opportunity & we are seeking an SIA registered Security Officer to cover an on-going contract in Lutterworth. We do not employ Security Officers on zero hour contracts at Unipart Group.

Job Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Provide a courteous, professional and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, their representatives and visitors to the company.
• Provide security for ’People, Product & Property’ at all times.
• To remain alert at all times and give consistent attention to all details of site security
• To carry out regular visual and sensory patrols of all internal and external areas and report all concerns.
• To carry out effective screening & searching routines
• Monitor access to the premises and visitors via CCTV
• Meeting the requirements of all company policies and practices
• Effective recording of information / incidents from within the building / premises
• Carrying out procedures to ensure effective service delivery
• Gatehouse duties
• To work with the Security Manager to identify problems and achieve resolution.
• To ensure a smooth and full handover of daily events to the security team
• To utilise the patrol system to aid patrols for the security team
• To utilise the electronic access control system effectively, to allow traffic control
• To be involved in the planning and participation of weekly Duty Roster
• To lead the site security team with the day to day site operations within all shifts

• Able to be flexible in approach to responsibilities and to working hours
• Have minimal good basic IT skills.

Candidates must:

• Be SIA Licensed in accordance with the Security Industry Act 2001
• Have a 5 year checkable history to the standards required by BS.7858
• Be of smart appearance
• Punctual, Reliable & Flexible to meet business & client needs

We Offer:

We currently have 1 vacant post as follows:

• Contract of 48 hours per week minimum (extra hours available if required), working a rotational pattern, days nights & weekend
