Safeguards are highly motivated colleagues who believe in first class customer satisfaction. We see this role as being very customer focused with a friendly and welcoming approach. This is part of our mantra of ‘brining places to life’, our safeguard team will put our people first, ensuring most importantly of all, that students and guests feel welcome and safe on campus and their halls of residence.

This role is not simply a security officer position, you will be better trained and more competent to deal with emergencies, making sound and informed decisions ensuring incidents are appropriately managed

More About You

To be successful in this role you must have an awareness of Health & Safety issues and experience in working in a customer facing environment. You will need to hold the following qualifications:
  • Trained to SITO level
  • SIA License
  • First Aid at Work (training can be provided)
  • Defibrillator usage
  • Full Driving License
  • GDPR awareness training
You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly.
