Security Assurance Lead

Salary/package:Up to £50,000 (DOE) + 10% Bonus and Competitive Benefits

Location: Carlisle, with cross border travel.

Location -Crawley Court and travel to other Arqiva, supplier and customer sites where appropriate.

Role overview:

Operating within the Service Operations team, reports directly into the Head of Service Assurance. You will join a new formed authoritative, exciting and empowered team that holistically works across the business to provide support, advice, governance. To above enable us to provide the best service and products to Arqiva customers. This role is critical to the continued importance placed on security and building confidence in our clients and governing bodies that our solutions and operational processes are secure, with any issues addressed quickly and in line with key standards. You will responsible for working with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to address security matters and providing input to meetings with regulatory bodies. Experience of running or implementing an IMS as the management of the system is a key part of your role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Point of Contact for all Customer related Service Security enquiries
  • Operations lead for Security matters. Engagement and alignment with central Security team policies to implement and manage initiatives within Ops
  • To work with stakeholders to develop and document best practise for penetration and vulnerability testing, ensuring all Testing is completed in-line with corporate and contractual requirements
  • To work with relevant stakeholders to share best practice while performing tests and uncovering security vulnerabilities
  • Owner of the Privileged User List in respect of the requirement for SC clearance for resource with access to key client’s systems.
  • To support the Service security awareness and training programme ensuring it meets all commercial, corporate, industry regulations and compliance requirements

Must Haves

  • Current or historical held SC Level Clearance (or ability to be able to achieve this clearance)
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 27001 and audit protocol/requirements
  • Experience of project managing Security activities and initiatives (penetration or vulnerability testing would be advantageous)
  • Experience in defining and implementing Security Management Plans in an Operational environment
  • Ability to fit into a tight knit, dynamic team working across all areas of the business.

Might Haves

  • Experience in analysing data developing associated reporting to all levels of management, externally and internally.
