With Freight services extensive and personalised to the specific requirements of the client, with all arrangements and documentation taken care of by a dedicated team.Now looking to strengthen and add to the freight forwarding team a Ocean Freight Forwarding Specialist at their Cannock location.Your role will involve ...* Establishing working relationships with existing clients.* To obtain quotes for all sea freight exports and Imports and some Trailer freight movements* Taking sea freight bookings both exports and imports* Handling and completing shipping documentation* To develop relationships with suppliers and effectively manage supplier movements.* To manage and oversee collections and deliveries on a daily basis.* To manage escalations and provide resolutions to the client.In order to apply for this role, you will have…* Previous Sea Freight Exports and or Imports Industry experience* Experience in negotiating rates with hauliers, consolidators and ocean carriers* Good IT and reporting skills* Good communicator, both verbal and written* Ability to organise and work as part of a small busy teamBenefits* Salary £27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience, possibly more for the right candidate* Bonus scheme* 22 days holiday, 8 bank holidays, holidays rising to 38 days with service* Pension
