We are now recruiting for a Freight Forwarding Clerk based in Sale.

Our client is a well-establishedfreight forwarder providing freight forwarding services on a global scale. Providing bespoke freight forwarding solutions for any logistics needs, no matter what the size of requirements, with a commitment to offering outstanding customer service.

With a purpose-built head office and warehousing facility in the South which is home to the Seafreight, warehousing, haulage and national distribution services.

Air and sea freight exports are headquartered at a dedicated office and warehouse facility in Manchester whilst Import air freights are headquartered in a dedicated office in Heathrow Airport.

We are now recruiting for a Freight Forwarder to be based out of the Sale office in Manchester

Responsibilities Include

Handling Air and Sea Freight Export freight forwarding

Dealing with customer queries

Ensuring all freight documentation is received on time and is all correct

Processing customs clearance

Booking deliveries

Producing and sending invoices

Essential Requirements Are

Freight forwarding export skills ideally gained in Sea and Air although training will be given if you only have sea or air

Excellent administration or customer service background gained from a freight, logistics, parcels or related background

Good telephone manner

Team player

Fast learner

Able to work in a small team

Benefits

Salary dependent upon experience £21,000 - £25,000
